The Sunday

         

In ancient time people used to worship many things . Some people worship the things that they can't see and some worship those things that they can observe. The thing they see with naked eyes were Sun,Moon,Fire etc. However,they allocated one day for worship of Sun from that point of view the day name was called Sunday.

It is the day of rest and worship for Christians .In some countries like USA,Canada and Australia it is imagined as a first Day of the week.

According to international standard ISO 8601, Sunday is considered as last day or seventh day of the  week and Monday as a first day of the week.

Officially,in 1843 British government announced Sunday as Off day in India.


 Sunday is the  rest day for Christians. Stock exchange remains closed. No way leads to go to schools colleges and universities. Roads look quiet , no hustle and bustle during morning.

    People , especially youth enjoy on weekends days . They move towards picnic points and eat dinner at famous restaurants.
         Few lazy one spends whole day at home by watching movies , sleeping and playing indoor games.

        Special bazaars are held for particular class to purchase things at the  cheapest cost. Usually people of lower class wait for these bazaars and move towards their for purchasing.
